Year 1 School Trip to Wingham Wildlife Park: Exploring Animals and Science in Action

Year 1 went on an exciting school trip to Wingham Wildlife Park, where we had the chance to explore and learn about different animals in their natural habitats. In our Science lessons, we’ve been focusing on identifying, grouping, and comparing animals based on their characteristics.

It was amazing to see so many fantastic animals up close, from playful monkeys to towering giraffes, and even some exotic reptiles! We had so much fun observing how each animal is unique and learning about the different groups they belong to, such as mammals, birds, and reptiles.

It was a fantastic hands-on experience that really brought our science lessons to life!
