Early Years Visit Godstone Farm

To kick off our Amazing Animals topic this term, Acorn Class spent an unforgettable day exploring life on the farm at Godstone! 🐐

The children got up close with some fascinating creatures—holding a bearded dragon and a millipede, going pond dipping, and feeding sheep and goats. We were also thrilled to meet some of the farm’s newest arrivals, including fluffy newborn lambs and a sweet little foal! 🐑🐎

But it wasn’t just about the animals—we rolled up our sleeves and learned what it takes to care for them too! From filling hay bags to cleaning up after the horses, the children experienced the real work behind farm life. 💪🌾

It was a day full of discovery, teamwork, and hands-on learning—bringing our Amazing Animals topic to life in the most exciting way! 🌿✨
